Dr. Marla Rosenberg has been working in the field of hair transplant surgery in Toronto since 2001. She is a full time associate with hair transplant pioneer, Dr. Walter Unger, and completed most of her training under Dr. Unger’s direct supervision. She shares an office and an expert team of staff with him. To date, she has performed and assisted on several thousand surgical cases.

Dr. Marla Rosenberg is board certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeons and a member in good standing of the International Society of Hair Transplant Surgeons. She is also on the executive committee for the Canadian Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons. She recently received the ISHRS Continuing Medical Education Award. Ongoing participation in meetings and educational opportunities are a high priority.

Her practice is almost exclusively follicular unit transplantation (or micrografting), for both men and woman.  Hair transplant surgery is used to treat;

-male pattern hair loss
-female pattern hair loss
-scarring from injury or surgery
-repairs of old hair transplant cases which look unnatural or pluggy
-hair loss resulting from some medical diseases
-restore eyebrows

Dr. Marla Rosenberg performs and is involved in all aspects of the surgery.  She also personally conducts all patient assessments and consultations.

Her surgical techniques emphasize the correct graft site angle and direction.  This leads to natural results no matter how much existing hair is present.  Only one patient per day is operated on due to the large size of the sessions and the time and attention that must be devoted to them.
