Without eyebrows a person’s face can appear unbalanced or even slightly odd. There are many reasons for hair loss in this area. These include disease, burns, scars, congenital malformations of the eye, over tweezing and other medical treatments (chemotherapy and radiation therapy). Many individuals have sparse eyebrow hair from birth. Previously, some people opted for eyebrow tattoos to recreate the lost eyebrow hair.

The procedure involves the removal of donor hair from the scalp by the physician with the assistance of specially trained nurses and technicians.  The hair follicles are carefully prepared for the desired recipient area and extreme care is taken with recipient site angle and direction. This ensures a natural result.

Hair growth begins at 3-6 months and full growth occurs at one year.
Hair does require trimming as needed.

Dr. Marla Rosenberg will carry out the procedure under local anesthetic. Most patients experience some post operative swelling and tenderness in the area for the first few days.
